A company in the Creve Coeur area is seeking an inventory clerk to join their Information Services department for an immediate opening! This is a full-time, temp to hire position, working from 8: 15 am - 4: 30 pm, Monday through Friday, and pay will be $13.00 per hour. The ideal candidate in this role should be comfortable lifting and carrying supplies around the office, and have previous experience in an office support role.   Job Duties:
  • Provide administrative and clerical support for the IS Department (ordering lunches, scheduling conferences rooms, copying, faxing, printing, etc.)
  • Create purchase orders and check requests within their company system
  • Lift and move boxes containing computer equipment
  • Unpack delivered boxes with equipment and deliver to the proper party/area for processing
  • Sort and deliver mail 
  • Pack and ship equipment to remote offices and schedule package pickup
  • Maintain department inventory
  • Utilize MS Excel to process and update inventory and other reports as requested
  • Restock supplies and toners as needed
  • Interact with vendors and other department employees via phone and in person
  • Additional  duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years prior office support experience required
  • Previous purchasing and/or inventory experience a plus
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency (with a focus on Excel) required
  • Ability to spend up to 50% of the work day walking, standing, and/or lifting items
  • Positive and professional demeanor while working with vendors and other staff members
