Pay: $25 - $34 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, standard daytime schedule

What You'll Do
As a Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for:
  • Contacting customers to collect payments on past-due invoices via phone, email, or other communication channels.
  • Analyzing overdue accounts to determine appropriate collection strategies.
  • Researching transactions, reviewing contracts, and reviewing account activity in the AR system to identify actions needed for collection.
  • Preparing and updating collection reports for internal use and management.
  • Responding promptly to customer inquiries, clarifying account details, and resolving issues effectively.
  • Documenting all collection efforts and customer communications accurately in the system.
  • Collaborating with internal departments to resolve disputes and clarify account information.

What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • At least 2 years of experience in corporate collections, with a customer service-oriented approach.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to manage multiple accounts efficiently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • A professional, assertive demeanor, and analytical mindset to resolve complex account issues.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, work effectively with customers and internal teams, and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A detail-oriented approach and the ability to research and analyze financial and contractual data.
