What You'll Do
As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger activity, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
- Manage the preparation and review of financial reports to ensure accuracy and timely completion of reporting requirements.
- Lead and support accounting team members by providing direction, training, and guidance to improve department performance.
- Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to assist leadership with business planning and decision-making.
- Maintain compliance with company accounting policies, internal controls, and financial procedures.
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with prior leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end/year-end close processes.
- Experience working with accounting software or ERP systems such as SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including experience with formulas, pivot tables, reporting, and financial analysis.
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
