A St. Louis based organization is looking to hire a Technical Implementation Analyst to lead a transition to Workday. The ideal candidate will have been through multiple Workday implementations, but candidates with a single implementation involving Recruiting and Learning will be considered. Initially, this candidate's main responsibility will be to oversee the Workday implementation, but later may be involved in other technical or analytical projects within the IT department.    Job duties include:

  • Act as a liaison between the HR Department and the IT Department throughout the Workday implementation

  • Serve as an integral part of the build, design, configuration and testing processes

  • Manage business processes through the implementation

  • Coordinate multiple integrations (recruiting, learning, payroll, etc)

  • Create custom reports within Workday per HR department/HRIS Specialist's request

  • Stay in constant contact with HR department regarding updates associated with the implementation on a daily/weekly basis

  • Serve as a subject matter expert to troubleshoot and assist with issues or questions
  • Verify that all reports are pulling correct data and all facets of the program are operating correctly once the implementation is complete
  • Maintain and oversee administration of the system once implementation is complete
  • Create reference documents for company to refer to for future needs or issues
  • Assist with other IT-related projects as needed
This opportunity is slated to be a year-long assignment, but has the potential for permanent placement depending on candidate experience and performance. Compensation will be between $50.00 - $80.00 per hour, but there may be some flexibility depending upon experience.
 Qualified candidates must posses:
  • Prior experience with the implementation of Recruiting and Learning through Workday
  • Previous involvement in the build, design, configuration, testing and integration of a Workday system
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical processes and information into common explanations for other departments
  • The ability to commit to a project which will last a minimum of one year and could become a permanent role
