Living in St. Louis and looking to work for a tech startup?   A software company with an Earth City office is looking to add (3) Tier 1 Technical Help Desk associates to their team. This company offers the casual, fun environment and couples the growth potential of a startup with the stability of a company which has been in business for over 20 years.  This position offers competitive pay with multiple salary reviews annually, excellent benefits and strong advancement opportunities. Shift schedules are either 8: 00am-5: 00pm or 8: 30am-5: 30pm, Monday-Friday.   JOB DUTIES: 
  • Receive incoming support calls/emails directly from customers
  • Document all customer calls
  • Conduct research to resolve customer issues
  • Completing various projects as assigned
  While this position doesn't necessarily require previous employment experience in a tech support or help desk role, our client is actively seeking candidates who have an aptitude for technology - if you are attending school or have your degree in a computer related field, if you are the 'go to' tech and troubleshooting guru for your friends & family, or if you are actively seeking to get in at the ground floor with a tech software company, this is definitely the job for you!   

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Previous customer service or research experience including extensive problem resolution 
  • Ability to absorb and retain information quickly
  • Experience with desktop operating systems (Microsoft Windows) and knowledge of basic computer hardware
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills and customer service skills
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
