Large Overland Park Employer is looking for a Sr. HR Associate on a Contract basis


This  position will work as a team member supporting HR programs. Processes and supports personnel transactions and records. Functions as a point of contact for employee questions.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Program administration on behalf of various HR Centers of Expertise which may include retirement services , records administration; new hire programs; benefits programs; staffing programs; award programs; etc.
  • Update employee records and audit employee transactions for accuracy using the human resource information system (HRIS).
  • Provide superior customer service to internal professionals by providing correct interpretation of HR policies.
  • This team is also the first point of contact for all general questions.
  • Questions are received by phone, email or face to face.


    • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, Word and Excel.
    • Strong attention to detail and superior customer service skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to utilize a verity on on-line tools and job aids.
    • PeopleSoft experience preferred.
    • Prior Payroll experience preferred.
    • Some knowledge of HR policies, procedures, laws and regulations desirable.
    • Global company experience helpful.
    • Responsible for maintaining strict confidentiality. 
    • 1-2 years of HRIS, Benefits Administration experience.

      • Data entry experience required.
      • Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office.
      • Strong attention to detail is required.
      • Superior customer service skills required.
      • Excellent verbal and written skills required.
      • Responsible for maintaining strict confidentiality.
      • Ability to use a variety of on-line tools and job aids.


      High School Diploma or equivalent.
