Our client, a law firm in downtown St. Louis, is seeking a Recruiter to join their team! This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity, and provides the ability to work from home the majority of the time! Pay for this opportunity is between $40, 000 - $55, 000 annually, depending on candidate background and experience.    The candidate in this role is responsible for achieving staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating candidates, advising managers, and maintaining the applicant tracking system. Candidates would be required to be on-site for in-person interviews and candidate on-boarding, but would otherwise be a work from home opportunity.  
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage and fill open positions as efficiently and effectively as possible
  • Post job descriptions online/on job sites
  • Work with recruiters, headhunters, and staffing services to fill open positions
  • Conduct pre-screening interviews
  • Assist in interviewing and selecting employees
  • Perform reference and background checks for potential employees as needed
  • Schedule and conduct new employee orientation
  • Attend job fairs and recruiting functions to promote the company and recruit new talent
  • Assist with special projects within HR Department as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • 2-5 years previous recruiting experience required
  • Prior experience recruiting for small firm or small company ideal
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field highly preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook required
  • Strong communication skills a must
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and stay organized
  • Stable work history
  • Friendly demeanor with the ability to work individually or as part of a larger team
