Overland Park company providing food processing and industrial supplies to businesses for over 75 years is growing and needs to add another buyer with international buying experience the ability to interact with sales (forecasting). Will handle purchase orders from start to finish, including signing contracts, verifying invoices for payment and verifying receipts. Also handle domestic purchase orders for expense items, including warehouse operating supplies. Analyze available sales information in order to make appropriate buys to arrive within known lead times.
Main point of contact with international freight forwarder. Work closely with sales to coordinate drop ship sales orders from overseas vendors directly to overseas customers.
MUST have a background in purchasing/buying for medium to large companies and good Excel skills( spreadsheets, formulas, pivot tables) International buying experience also needed.
