Public Relations Assistant

Our Client in the O'Hare area has an opening, in their public affairs group, for an Assistant to the Senior Vice President of Public Affairs – The ideal candidate will have experience with social media posting for an organization, and have excellent administrative skills. The hours are Monday – Friday 8:15 – 5:00 with a 45 minute lunch.
Duties will include invoicing, budget spreadsheets, meeting scheduling, meeting material development, and some media monitoring.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Social Media posting in relation to a company or organization.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.
- Experience with budgets, invoicing and meeting planning.
- Previous experience supporting a Senior Vice President.
