Overland Park based company looking for an individual with a BA or BS in Supply Management, Business, Technical/Engineering,Construction Management or related field with proficient analytics, budget development and management. MUST have a minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience. Three month assignment-could go longer. No travel required.
Duties will include purchasing assigned equipment, construction, and service contracts for projects. Assisting in project setup of procurement related activities. Executing and managing the procurement prices on assigned contracts including bid list preparation, solicitation of quotes, and evaluating, negotiating and awarding of contracts. Will lead negotiations for assigned procurements and/or construction contracts. Collaborate to resolve complex claims or other contract issues. Assisting with the development and monitoring of project budgets and schedules(man hours, cost,procurement milestone durations) May be asked to develop, create and lead presentations to internal and external client and joint venture partners. May be responsible for soliciting budgetary pricing for equipment, material, or labor to support estimating/proposal efforts for a projct or projects.
Minimum of seven (7) years relevant experience required.
Straight 3-month contract (could go longer)
Pay is $35/hr to $40/hr DOE
