Lenexa company a national leader in electrical planning, engineering , design and installation has an opening for an Office Manager who will report to Group Leader or Executive Vice-President of Operations.
This position works between the hours of 7AM and 5PM with some overtime required. Able to work a flexible schedule as is necessary. Temp-to-hire $23-24/hr
The main emphasis of this position is on office manager but will include providing high level administrative support by conducting research, preparing statistical reports, handling information requests, and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls and scheduling meetings. Will train and supervise clerical staff.
Will supervise receptionist position. Coordinates special events for the branch or region. Prepares agendas and makes arrangements for internal and external meetings. Includes room reservations, hospitality items and technology as needed. Attends internal team meetings and takes and distributes notes. Arranges for front desk coverage in the absence of the receptionist.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and three (3) years progressive administrative experience
Or an Associate's degree and Two (2) years progressive administrative experience
Must be proficient in the use of PC and Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, Outlook, Power Point and Word).

Previous office manager experience with the years of experienced required and proficient with the MS Office suite is a plus
