Company in the Kansas city area is seeking an HR Administrator. Must be able to obtain a passport and be able to travel. This is a contract position that pays $16/hr.

·         Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in Human Resources and Health and Safety field

·         Grade 12 Education or Equivalent

·         College or University education in the field of Human Resources

·         Must be willing to travel to all locations within the USA and Canada

·         Must possess advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office Applications

·         Must possess intermediate to advanced computer skills

·         Criminal background check, Drug Screen and Post Offer Pre-employment physical

 

 

 

General Responsibility

·         Must maintain absolute confidentiality and remain impartial

·         Assist employees on the interpretation and administration of policies and procedures

·         Enter Work Schedule Adjustment forms and track attendance weekly

·         Assist with recruitment and selection activities; including creating and posting advertisements,          screening resumes, interviewing, creating and issuing job offers and new hire paperwork, arranging medicals, conducting reference and verification checks and administering hiring tests as required

·         Assist with hire orientation for all employees

·         Assist with all components of Coach: including tracking disciplines, performance reviews, attendance, training and all data entry related items

·         Assist with employee performance appraisal system including issuing and tracking

·         Assist in policy development, implementation, communication and training

·         Assist with the employee benefits program

·         Assist with internal job posting process

·         Assist in conducting discipline or accident investigations

·         Assist with Workers Compensation claims management activities

·         Assist with  Safety program and related data

·         Adhere to Employment and Safety Federal and State regulations and legislations

·         All other tasks as assigned

 

 

Direct Responsibilities

·         Ensure company policies and procedures are being followed, as well as all government Regulations, enforcing compliance as required

·         Establish, promote and maintain effective and positive relationships will all employees, enhancing Employee Relations

·         Assist with all HR and/or Health and Safety related items

 

Physical Responsibilities

·         May be required to repeatedly lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs unassisted

·         May be required to lift between 50-75 lbs assisted

·         Frequent use of hands, lifting, bending, stooping, twisting, standing and reaching may occur

·         There may be some stepping up, stepping down and carrying
