Our client in the banking industry is seeking a temporary financial office clerk to join their credit and collections team! This would be working out of their corporate office in Bridgeton, and pays $12.00 per hour. This is a full-time, long-term temporary opportunity, but does have the potential for permanent hire depending on business needs. If hired permanently, the pay could increase to $13.00 per hour.

Job Duties:
  • Process paperwork, mail, and inter-office correspondence
  • Review documents and post payments
  • Prepare charge off accounts for third party collections and all necessary reports
  • Prepare and process various documents and letters
  • Provide research to assist in resolving any problems or issues that arise with customer accounts
  • Verify all customer contact information is updated and correct in database
  • Correspond with customers via written and oral communication as needed
  • Assist in payment arrangement for delinquent loans
  • Assist the department with additional clerical duties as requested
  • 1-3 years prior experience in an office support role required
  • Previous experience working in a bank, financial institution, or credit union highly preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) required
  • Ability to multi-task and re-prioritize while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong typing and data entry skills
  • Ability to work in team-oriented environment
  • Stable work history
