Looking for someone who can deliver next level customer service and can turn a potentially negative experience into a positive lasting impression on our customer.

The Customer Care Specialist, under the leadership of the Customer Care Supervisor, will utilize soft skills, effective questioning and listening skills to anticipate and determine the customer’s needs. You will be working in a call center environment, researching and resolving complex escalations and complaints, assisting customers as needed by properly handling account inquiries and providing solutions in courteous and timely manner. The Customer Care Specialist will have direct interaction with internal and external customers as well as different levels within the organization.

To successfully perform at this position, you should have solid time-management and organizational skills, detail oriented focus and deliver accurate and timely resolutions. It is also vital that you display exceptional verbal and written communication, interpersonal and active-listening skills, as well as the ability to put yourself in the customer’s shoes and easily establish rapport with a wide variety of customers as well as different level within the organization.

  • Communicate professionally both verbally and in writing
  • Maintain composure when handling escalated or difficult calls
  • Create a positive customer experience and resolve issues using exceptional judgement and problem solving skills
  • Partner cross-functionally with other internal departments and with external vendors
  • Strive to achieve or exceed goals through teamwork within a friendly competitive environment
  • Perform account research and place outbound calls that demonstrates exceptional customer care
  • Perform duties as assigned
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a Call Center environment
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Track record of adhering to protocols, policies & procedures

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree, equivalent or higher
  • Experience with Mainframe (3270)
  • Experience in Financial Services Industry
  • Experience with NPS and/or Closed Loop

Pay is $16/hr. This is a direct hire position.
