Position responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Providing support to distributors, regional sales manager and independent sales agencies in assigned territory
  • Processing daily orders, customer returns and credit requests
  • Submitting special price requests to Pricing Manager and prepare formal quotations
  • Assist customers and agents in crossing referencing competitor part numbers to company part numbers
  • Proactively solve problems and identify opportunities for customers and the company
  • Seek feedback from distributors in order to better serve customer base
  • Field calls for stock checks and customer pricing
  • Manage back orders on a daily basis
  • Follow up issues until completion
  • Aptitude to learn complex products and technology
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Self-driven, results oriented and goal focused

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years of business-to-business customer service or inside sales experience
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Familiarity with ERP systems; Epicor Eclipse a plus
  • Background in lighting or distribution-based business a plus
