Job Description
The responsibilities for an Accounting Specialist include, but are not limited to:
- Generating statements and reports using accounting software
- Developing automated spreadsheets using Excel
- Maintaining trust account deposits and refunds, posts to correct accounts using chart of account.
- Organizing and maintaining financial records
- Coordinating vendor transactions
Accounting Specialist Skills & Qualifications:
- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
- Prioritizes and plans work activities.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Works well in a team environment.
- Ability to work under stress with interruptions and deadlines.
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact with others.
Accounting Specialist Requirements:
- Associate degree in accounting or equivalent work experience
- Six months experience working in an office environment.
- Experience in the legal industry is preferred but not required.
- Experience using accounting software is a plus.
