Our client located in Earth City has an immediate opening for a Benefits & Payroll Administrator to join their team! This is a full-time, temp-to-hire, opportunity that will pay between $45, 000 - $60, 000 annually upon permanent placement. This candidate will be responsible for processing payroll and administering benefits for all U.S. Company locations.


Job Duties:
  • Submit 401K contributions to third party record keeper
  • Prepare and submit any necessary data for regulatory & compliance filings
  • Prepare and submit bi-weekly payroll
  • Process employee requests, such as withholding, address, and direct deposit changes
  • Process and respond to garnishment notices
  • Run various monthly reports and respond to audit requests
  • Oversee open enrollment period for insurance coverage
  • Advise employee on benefit options and plan design during new hire and termination events
  • Review and reconcile monthly invoices & submit to accounting for payment
  • Interact with insurance carriers on employee benefits issues & enrollments
  • Serve as liaison with wellness vendors
  • Prepare and distribute communication regarding benefits & wellness to employees
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years prior experience in payroll & benefits role
  • Associates degree in HR, Accounting, or related field required; bachelor's degree preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
  • Familiarity with ADP highly preferred
  • Experience implementing or using HRIS/Payroll system very helpful
  • Prior experience in a multi-state or manufacturing environment highly preferred
