Help Desk/Technical Support

Busy Overland Park office is looking for a help desk, technical support person who will take users issues and requests by phone, email and Service Pro ticketing system and log the information into Service Pro- then either resolve the issue or escalate to the appropriate resource. First level troubleshooting of laptops, desktops, servers, network related or attached systems. Will recommend or perform remedial actions to correct problems, replace defective or inadequate software packages. Install, troubleshoot and repair PC hardware and operating systems. Troubleshoot MS and Enterprise software application issues. Provide support for LAN, remote (VPN,RDP) access, and resolve basic Email connectivity issues. Installation and maintenance of Windows based PC/Laptops in an enterprise environment. Troubleshooting, configuring of desktop components and assisting with physical installation of Desktops, Mac and Laptops. Respond to client inquiries concerning systems operations and diagnoses system hardware, software and operator problems. Install software patches as needed and eradicating spyware /viruses, set up and troubleshoot of print servers and queues. Assist with upgrade implementations, application support, and network infrastructure expansions. Perform preventive maintenance repairs.
Skills needed: Widows OS; Mac OS; MS Office, Basic experience with Windows Active Directory LAN administration; PowerShell (not required but is a plus) Malware removal.
