We have a client in the West County area within the financial industry looking to fill a financial document processor opening. This is a full time, contract opportunity, slated to last approximately 5 months. The main purpose of this role is to handle account requests, and requires the candidate to review, analyze, and interpret court orders and other documents to determine appropriate account action to be taken. This opportunity pays between $13 - $16/hr, dependent on experience.

Job Duties:
  • Verbal & written communication with branches, customers, agencies, and legal counsel to determine actions that need to be taken on accounts
  • Review and interpret a variety of documents
  • Follow company policies & procedures to determine appropriate action
  • Research, gather, and assemble document requests
  • Provide instructions to departments concerning account freezes, disbursements, and changes of ownership.
  • Maintain detailed records of all open cases, using the CRM system to document
  • Assist with clerical and administrative duties within the department as assigned
  • Provide oral and written testimony as required
  • Other duties as assigned


 

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree in Paralegal, Business, Legal studies, or related field OR equivalent combination of experience & education
  • 2+ years experience in a similar role that required document interpretation
  • Familiarity to read, comprehend, and interpret documents (court orders, divorce degrees, etc)
  • Ability to keep all documents, conversations & correspondence highly private and confidential
  • Understanding of rights and principles associated with property ownership (joint tenancy, custodial, etc) & business ownership (corporation, LLC, etc.)
  • Ability to follow procedures to determine proper course of action needed
  • High level of organization skills required; candidate must be able to track files and maintain detailed notes and records
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, & Outlook
