Our client, a bank located in the Clayton area, is currently seeking a Commercial Loan Administrator to join their busy team! This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity that will pay within the range of $17.00 - $20.00 per hour. This opportunity is with a growing company, and they have an excellent benefits package as well! The ideal candidate for this position will have prior experience in an administrative or support position within a commercial loan department.

 

JOB DUTIES:
  • Greet customers and assist with their commercial banking needs
  • Assist commercial loan officers with investigating, preparing, and closing of commercial loans
  • Assemble and process various loan files 
  • Perform general administrative duties for the commercial loan department
  • Assist in answering customer inquiries and forwarding specific commercial loan request information to the loan officer
  • Support department executives with various record keeping and data management needs
  • Prepare and analyze reports regarding volume, quality, and profitability for the department

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years experience in a commercial loan administrator or commercial loan assistant role required 
  • College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Word and Excel) 
  • Strong understanding of banking practices regarding commercial loans
  • Financial statement analysis skills
  • Proofreading skills 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
