Accounts Payable Team Lead
A technology company in Lansdale, PA is looking for an Accounts Payable Team Lead. The role requires constant communication with external vendors as well as internal partners (sales, finance, operations, IT). Some responsibilities include:
-Supervising staff and managing workload in areas of purchasing and vendor payables
-Supporting monthly close process and complete tasks within deadlines
-Providing ad hoc analysis around payables
-Using sales/use tax compliance and reporting
The requirements for this position include:
-Minimum of 3 years in a payables role
-Minimum of 2 years knowledge of sales & use tax compliance and reporting
-Managerial experience-minimum of 1 year
-Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
-Accounting degree from an accredited institution
-Sage 100 and/or Salesforce experience
A successful candidate in this position must be well organized, able to communicate with a firm in a professional, patient, and courteous manner, and be mindful of maintaining positive vendor relationships.
They should be a self starter. The objective for this position are clear; once trained, the employee is expected to work independently for the most part.
